WHAT DISCIPLES BELIEVE

We affirm that Jesus is the son of the Living God, and that he offers grace to all of God’s children.

We believe all Christians are called to be one in Christ and to seek out opportunities for Service, Witness, and Personal and Spiritual Growth.

WHAT DISCIPLES PRACTICE

Open Communion – The Lord’s Supper, or Communion, is celebrated weekly as part of our worship. It is open to all who believe in Jesus Christ.

Believers Baptism – We believe that in baptism one’s old, self-centered life is washed away and a new God-centered life begins. Although we practice baptism by immersion, other forms of baptism are recognized.

Ministry of Believers – Both ministers and lay persons lead in worship, service and spiritual growth.
